About Monkin Academy
Monkin Academy was created with a vision of providing high-quality child care that blends the structure of a center with the warmth of a home environment. Established in the spring of 2025, the program was built on over 15 years of experience in child care and youth programs, with a strong focus on creating a safe, engaging, and supportive space for children. In June 2025, Monkin Academy received support through the Child Care Infrastructure Grant, allowing for the development of a fully equipped outdoor play area. After months of thoughtful preparation, Monkin Academy officially opened in August 2025 and has since been dedicated to helping children learn, grow, and thrive through play, exploration, and meaningful connections.
